Wireless Logic buys French IoT platform provider IoThink Solutions

UK IoT connectivity platform provider Wireless Logic has acquired France-based industrial IoT platform enabler IoThink Solutions for an undisclosed sum. The deal follows Wireless Logic’s twin purchases of IoT MVNO Mobius Networks and IoT SIM provider Jola in the summer. The Berkshire-based firm also bought IoT MVNO Arkessa at the end of 2020.

IoThink Solutions, formed in 2016, provides software for customers to build custom IoT platforms, for remote control and analysis of industrial IoT equipment and environments. Its Kheiron suite supports low-code development, and syncs with 750 pre-integrated sensor devices; it also features digital twin capabilities and templates for industrial use cases. The platform software is used by 6,000 IT/OT professionals, in various industries in various countries.

A statement said: “Kheiron facilitates the management of information flows from different sources and allows integrators to interconnect with their own internal solutions under a single data format. Kheiron can adapt to different use cases to meet demand across different vertical sectors – from smart cities, buildings and industry, to retail and utilities.” Nice-based IoThink Solutions employs around 20 staff

Julien Dalmasso, co-founder and chief executive at IoThink Solutions, commented: “Wireless Logic is a heavyweight in the IoT industry, as evidenced by its recent global momentum, partnerships, and success. Introducing our IoT enablement solution to [its] customer base presents a huge opportunity. This milestone is testament to the hard work and dedication of the amazing team at IoThink. We are all very excited at what we can achieve as part of the group.”

Oliver Tucker, chief executive at Wireless Logic said: “This extends our reach to an adjacent part of the value chain. As IoT scales, the tools and solutions IoThink offers are increasingly important to optimise any IoT project for maximum efficiency…. Similarly, our connectivity solutions will be a valuable addition to the Kheiron suite, helping customers decrease complexity and time to market.”

Wireless Logic claims to manage eight million IoT subscriptions in 165 countries, via direct partnerships with 48 mobile networks and indirect partnerships with 750 networks. Its IoT platform offers a “single window” to connect and manage assets across any network and number of deployments. It claims over 20,000 customers in industry, agriculture, healthcare, security, transport, utilities, and smart cities.
