IoT requires complex connected hardware – many companies are underestimating topics like antenna design

Join Chris Hare and guests Dr Gerry Hayes President/Founder and Larry Steffann GM of the Wireless Research Center of NC, a non-profit research, development, test and certification team focused on advanced RF engineering.

IoT is about connected services and devices, that connection is often misunderstood, or at least poorly executed.  Many companies entering IoT do not have the in-house deep knowledge of how these pieces of hardware operate and cooperate on cellular and other wireless networks.  Differing markets and expectations lead to failed devices, and therefore failed connections.
