Derek Kerton is the head of the Kerton Group’s Strategy Consulting Practice and an internationally recognized telecom industry expert who consults for companies throughout the telecom value chain (NTT DoCoMo, SKTelecom, Disney, Sony, Broadcom…); sits on the boards of Aegis Mobility, KeyZap, and The Telecom Council; publishes research and analysis across the industry; advises the financial community on telecom issues (Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley); is frequently interviewed on CNN, CNBC, and Wall Street Journal among others.

As Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Mimosa, Jaime Fink is instrumental in driving a disruptive wireless alternative solution for gigabit fixed internet and Wi-Fi applications. With Mimosa, Jaime aims to surpass the capacities of legacy wireline technology and deliver multi-gigabit access solutions at a fraction of the cost.

Jaime began his career working with Brian at Polycom, quickly joining the product ranks to manage the world-renowned Soundstation, and the industry’s first data and web conferencing products. During his tenure as CTO of 2Wire in the early days of broadband, Jaime pioneered delivering IP services to the home over Fiber and xDSL. He created “Zero Touch” self-installation, bringing DSL to the mass market and authored Broadband Forum TR-124 Broadband Residential Gateway functional requirements, standardizing how service gateways are deployed globally today. Jaime was also a key figure in driving the wildly successful Broadband Forum TR-069 management standard used throughout the broadband industry on over 350 million devices, streamlining broadband and home service delivery and advanced customer support operations.

Jaime graduated with a BSCE from the University of California, Irvine, and holds five U.S. patents.

Farooq Khan is currently CEO of PHAZR, a 5G Millimeter wave radio network solutions provider. Previously, he was the President and Head of Samsung Research America, Samsung’s US-based R&D unit, where he led high impact collaborative research programs in mobile technology. He holds over 200 U.S. patents, has written 50 research articles and a best-selling book, and presented over 100 speeches at professional forums worldwide.

Brian Baird offers a proven track record of success having held leadership roles within Telecom, IT and as co-founder of Expeto Wireless Inc. Expeto enable enterprises to fully control cellular data – inclusive of LTE data. This is achieved by controlling and managing the LTE core network. Expeto has developed a PaaS platform where enterprises can now control cellular data just like they do Wifi and deploy it behind the firewall.
